"For these prices, I expected more food... I'd be okay with that if the food I got tasted good. I got the 15. Fried Shrimp & Boneless Spare Ribs combo for around $20 and it came with 2 pieces of fried shrimp. There were enough ribs (for a $12-15 combo maybe) but they were painfully bland and overcooked, the texture reminded me of beef jerky.
I also ordered a side order of 3. Fried Wonton (8)... fried perfectly, tasted like nothing.
My egg roll was burnt, and for some reason this all came with a side of mayonnaise? (I don't know if that's a normal thing maybe I've just missed out).
The fact that this is the worst Chinese food I've had in Norwich in all 23 years of my life here and also amongst the most expensive Chinese food I've gotten is insane. I will never order here again."

"Second order from Sizzling Wok in a week or so due to a 30% off special on several items. The only carryover from the first order was the General Tso’s Chicken. While the flavor, quality and portion size were good, this combination plate (with fried rice and egg roll) were inconsistent. Spice level: mild, medium and spicy is offered, and last time they nailed spicy with just enough heat to make this American-Chinese dish interesting. Today no such luck and perhaps its preparer didn’t bother to read the spice level notation. The egg roll was crispy and tasty as before but absolutely dripping oil. Clearly it never had a chance to sit and drain in the fry basket and was hurriedly placed in its paper sleeve. Broccoli in the shrimp dish was a bit over-cooked. Lo mein noodles were similarly overdone and had none of the sear that creates a little smokiness that is a characteristic of this dish when cooked properly. I will resist ordering again from here and instead revert to my absolute fave, China House in nearby Quaker Hill. "

"The food was very fresh & very flavorful & delivered piping hot! The fried rice was perfect, not greasy like normal takeout. The portions were enourmous, each entree can easily feed 2. The Crab Rangoon dough was like an empanada, chewy & delicious. The Korean Loaded Fries were piled with meat. The lo mien noodles that came with Bulgogi were thick like udon & super flavorful & the meat itself had so much sauce. Overall, an amazing meal a definitely going back to try the other menu items!"
"The Spicy Chow was good, especially the tofu and the portion size, but I would have preferred it without those huge pieces of tomatoes. The Veggie Spring Rolls were nice and crunchy. I prefer my Kimchi to be a bit less sour, but it wasn't bad. Definitely a bit overpriced for the small amount you get though, next time I'll pass on the kimchi. "

"Sometimes you just need a meal that you know is going to be consistent and delicious. Everytime I order food from here I am reminded why I do. The Pad Thai and crab rangoons are the best I've ever had and the portions are worth the price. I tried the Thai wings for the first time today and of course, delicious. I love this restaurant so much and the staff are always so welcoming. 12/10 recommend."
