"Finally! The Chewy's that I grew to live in Austin and here in Waco when it first opened seems to have gotten back on track. After several pretty poor meals, today was wonderful! The chips were thin, crunchy and fresh. The salsa Fresca is one of my favorite things offered at Chewy's. It is fresh with just enough heat to know it's there, but not overpowering.
The child's enchilada plate was very good and cheesy with the Ranchero sauce, and enough beans and rice to satisfy a very hungry child or even adult-a really good buy because it's only a dollar more than just one enchilada as a side, but also has the same amount of refried beans and Spanish rice that an adult plate would come with. So if you want a cheese enchilada but aren't super hungry, this is a good way to go.
I don't care for the sauce that comes with the chicken flautas, so I substitute cheese sauce and it's marvelous. Made with tender white meat chicken, and fried to be tender in the inside and crispy on the outside. It comes with a good amount of beans and rice, along with a salad of sour cream, nicely spiced guacamole and chopped tomatoes.
The only thing that sob wasn't super impressed with this evening was the side of guacamole. The flavor was fine, but for $2.35, I'd expect more that a heaping tablespoon."

"Not bad and I'm glad to see they have made some improvements but their tenders are smaller than other places compared for the price you pay. I did like how the sauce choice was on the side vs in the tenders. sometimes deliveries take a while so by the time the are received the sauce is dried to the food and not as good. Downside is you get more sauce in restaurant. Traditional wings were nice and crispy so that's a good comeback to witness, they were bad there for a little while. Still seem to be forgetful on sending the order out before making sure everything is in the bag. "We paid $75 to doordash the fajitas for two. The restaurant had a long wait and we are moving and were too hungry to wait, doordash was faster! We have had the fajitas here in person and they were seasoned, piping hot with the grilled onions. the flour tortillas in-house were also soft and flavorful. But the order we received via doordash, the chicken is plain and unseasoned, it barely looks grilled. there are some semisoft onions in the bottom, also not grilled. the tortillas are tough and chewy.
