"Surprised and blown away! Catfish Basket was fabulous! Catfish was beautifully cooked, breading was exceptional. Hush puppies, coleslaw and fries were excellent support players. Nothing was overdone. Fried Pickles were lightly breaded and beaufifully prepared. Fried Chicken Salad salad was loaded with succulent chichen, tomatoes, eggs, cheese etc. Dressing hit just the right note ! "I had left a rave review about the catfish basket from the other day. It was a stellar experience. I expected the same from this order. Catfish Platter was advertised with choice of potato, and came with beans and coleslaw & 2 hush puppies. I chose a baked potato expecting it to have been baked today. Silly me - it arrived at least a day old (or more) in the baking process and actually wasn't even fully baked. hush puppies were burnt, no coleslaw, and the beans (advertisted as pintos - not sure, but I've never seen pintos that small). The one item saving this dish was again the catfish. Ample portion, (small tater sauce) but thank goodness for the catfish! I willl order again (just not the platter) and will chalk this up to the cook having a bad day.

"First time ordering.. I had heard alot about them before they relocated and gave them a try. It was OK. The crust was how ilike it, but flavor of the sauce was bland -Cheese Pizza (Medium 12").Cheese wasnt as cheesy as other places (delivery or pick up). Size was average. And itwas warm not hot. I also ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch salad. I feel like it was decent, but nothing write home to mom about, the container wasnt even 1/2 full, and they also put the plastic dressing container in with my salad. Rather then put the plastic dressing container in the bag they placed it in the salad. Its bothersome being Im sure it touched several areas/ hands before touching my salad.
I love food, and dont eat out often due to taking a chance on becoming sick unnecessarily with a low immune system. I treat myself maybe once a month.. I was a little disappointed in what I received after all the hype ive read. I will go in once and see if its the same as delivery..."

"Wow! There are a few honorable and yummy burger places around the lake area. This one, in my opinion, is the best burger I have had in our little lake community. I ordered the Original Double with Fries. The burger was very flavorful, and cheesy gooey in the best way. The burger sauce pairs well with the cheese and grilled onions. The burger patties were cooked and seasoned very well, and the buns were toasted to perfection. I do wish there were options to order the burgers by themselves without fries, but that's not a deal breaker by any means. The fries were very good as well. They also packaged everything so well, and the food was PIPING hot. Will definitely be ordering again soon, as burgers are one of my favorite foods. Definitely a must try!"

The chicken fried steak itself was cooked perfectly, not chewy at all! The gravy was thick and well seasoned. It was smaller than most chicken fried steaks and also more expensive (at least on DoorDash) than other comparable door dash CFS.
The mashed potatoes have an odd look, texture and taste. Of course it's all personal preference I just wasn't a fan. They were gritty, and tasted freezer burnt (that's the only way I can describe it, I'm sure they weren't actually freezer burnt).
The okra was okay, it was more of an okra rock since everything was battered together and stuck during cooking, made for a soggy and inconsistent fry."
