I like that they gave me 2 tartar sauces with my fish plate without me having to ask as I usually have to ask for extra. 1 just isn't enough for the serving size of the fish. Con- My chicken wasn't marinated, or if it was, it wasn't marinated enough to taste the sauce. It's supposed to be Hawaiian bbq chicken which is marinated and then grilled. It wasn't flavorless however, it was basically a grilled chicken thigh. The Mac salad wasn't great, but I've also had worse. It was just ok, it could've used more seasoning. It tasted like mayonnaise and macaroni. I would still recommend this place. I'm curious to try out the other menu items that our household orders like chicken Katsu, musubis and the bbq cheese burger to compare it our usual L&L place we go to in a Lakewood. First of all the food came from Kent to Renton and arrived really nicely packaged. Food was even STILL WARM. The crab ragoons were orgasmic... the side salad was fresh and crunchy. Also the sauce they included with the salad was so good. Now the T2. Spicy Chicken Teriyaki was phenomenal. Chicken grilled crispy. Sauce was spicy but not too spicy with a hint of sweet. Portions were HUGE. I pigged out and still have an entire tupperware of leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. Anyways that's the longest food review I have ever written. Chicken & Vegetable Wontons in Hot & Sour Sauce (6) 🌶️ 酸辣菜肉大馄饨 was the opposite with a nice sour soupy sauce that was more sweet than hot. Mixing the soup with this sauce added much needed complexity and bite to the noodles. Pork Wontons in Chili Sauce (6) 🌶️ 红油猪肉抄手 were disappointing. Hardly any chili oil or sauce for this dish so it was just an order of plain wontons that someone showed chili oil. Dan Dan Noodles 🌶️ 担担面 were good. Smaller portion than for an actual meal, but strong flavors you'd associate with dadan noodles. Does not have minced meat or pickled vegetables you'd see in a more traditional version though. Solid noodle dish. Spicy Beef Pancake Roll (1) 🌶️ 麻辣牛肉卷饼 is disappointing. Way too much lettuce that over powers the chive pancake and the beef."

"The R3 Miso Ramen was kind of a let down. Although I recognize that these dishes are likely better served fresh, it did not excuse the extremely salty miso broth (served separately from the noodles and toppings) that nearly ruined the dish. The ramen was also served in an awkwardly tall, plastic container that made it difficult to use chopsticks to fish out the clumped-together noodles at the bottom. I suggest switching to a wider container rather than a tall container. The saving grace was the pork belly that seems to melt in your mouth. The sweetness of the Calpico I ordered was also a good counterbalance to the over abundance of salt in the Miso."
