"I'm upset that the pictures on their site show authentic ramen noodles but they're not when you receive your ramen, the noodles came from the packaged maruchan brands, very upsetting since I'm paying almost $19 for a bowl. The meat portions were very small and the only vegetables I received was kimchi, in the picture and description it shows that an egg comes with it and that wasnt in my bowl. "I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen. The broth was so lovely, pretty salty and delightfully aromatic with the smell of toasted garlic. The mild spicy level is absolutely perfect just to have the flavor without the burn (about as spicy as a hot cheeto or a little less). The bamboo smells quite strong. I also didn't know that this one came with an egg, which was a happy surprise for me as I almost opted in to add one (which I did not). The noodles are thick, lightly crinkled, and have a moderate amount of that al dente feel (my favorite). "

The Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl was also flavorful but it had more rice than the chicken and could use less teriyaki sauce on the rice, but the 2 for 1 is such a great deal so I'd for sure think about buying it again! The Chicken Karaage was on point and the sauce bomb. The Crab Rangoon (6) was another buy one get one free and good deal, but they needed to be fried a little more, the wrapper was chewy. "For some reason, the Crab King Roll🦀 蟹皇星卷 had kind of a soapy taste when you ate the crab. It tasted like the crab wasn't fresh. Also, the special sauce is spicy. I would expect sauce that was spicy to be labeled as spicy in the description. The Lion King Roll🦁 狮子王卷 also was unexpectedly spicy. It makes sense that they use the less fresh seafood in their cooked rolls with flavorful sauces- so the lack of freshness is less noticeable.
The rolls were mushy and difficult to eat with chopsticks without them falling apart. Each roll comes with ginger and wasabi packaged with the roll, not in separate containers, so if you don't like either of those flavors, you might have to skip one or two of the pieces from each container. The rolls are decently sized, too bad I don't care for the taste. Will not order again."

I usually don't drink all my broth when I get ramen, but I drank all of it this time. The teriyaki spots these days all serve chicken that has no texture like it is cooked sous vide, soft and overly moist, drowned in thick, overly sugary bottled "teriyaki sauce". "Love this place. Today the rolls were poorly made - very tasty, as always, but a little sloppy, a two rolls were missing an ingredient. I'm hoping it means a new chef is in training so they can continue to offer their usually perfect food to more customers.
