"I'm upset that the pictures on their site show authentic ramen noodles but they're not when you receive your ramen, the noodles came from the packaged maruchan brands, very upsetting since I'm paying almost $19 for a bowl. The meat portions were very small and the only vegetables I received was kimchi, in the picture and description it shows that an egg comes with it and that wasnt in my bowl. The broth was very salty and tasted watered down, I will not be ordering from here again. It's okay if you want something warm if there are no other options open late at night."

The teriyaki spots these days all serve chicken that has no texture like it is cooked sous vide, soft and overly moist, drowned in thick, overly sugary bottled "teriyaki sauce". Authentic, not goopy or thin, perfect consistency with flavor balance, definitely seemed made in house. The food arrived and the portions were large offering great value for the price. The fried pickles had a corner of the carton cut off to vent, they arrived fresh, warm and crispy. The veggie side to the plate was cooked but still crispy fresh. Gyoza arrived crispy as well. "Was very excited to try this place. I'll start with some praise: the beef is incredibly tender and flavorful. The garlic cucumber was a tad sweet but still very nice.
Now for the bad: the noodles are (at least delivered) only so-so. Almost feels like an Italian dried pasta. Worse, this was meant to be spicy - so I was expecting a fair bit of oil and chili, but it really was quite flavorless apart from the beef. I added a healthy dose of chili crisp to bring it to life, but for the quite expensive price point I was expecting more.
Decent portion size, but again - you're paying quite a bit for it. Probably won't order again, but might stop by the restaurant to see if it cooks up better fresh than delivered."
