"We are REALLY lucky to have Piedmont Cafe. The affordable greasy spoon diner is a dying breed anyway, but this place? Honestly, if they were open late at night a few nights a week or even all week? And if they had a few booths and a jukebox, but kept it alcohol-free, this would be the perfect place. I also think they would benefit heavily from utilizing a space out front for a table or two outside if at any way possible; I know the location makes it tough but it's definitely been done up and down the street in different spots. Ever since Gaylord's closed there's a gap that needs filled for a place to study and have breakfast late that isn't Denny's. Anyway, if it ain't broke don't fix it, but just some ideas for them to consider, to keep them thriving so they stay viable and with us forever! "

"I often door dash from this place. The Lois Famous Pineapple Ice Tea. Is probably the best thing I have ever had. I order it every time. The food is always hot and the hashbrows have such a good flavor and are never soggy. The food is not greasey but I think they use butter to cook with. I would skip the toast get english muffin no butter/ butter on side that way you can toast at work or home. If you order the pancakes don't forget to ask for butter on the side. I love that they let you customize and ask for things like a certain flavor of jelly. Also I never feel sick after eating here. It solid. Do not skip the iced tea. Even if you can't drink it right away and the ice melts it still tastes perfect."
