It was nothing like the picture. If I was the owner of this restaurant, I would be appalled at my staff not only for the preparation of this dish, but the poor quality is a disgrace. Then whomever boxed it up, knowing that it looked like this and still let it go out of the kitchen show their lack of care for the customer. No one would eat this. If you were in the restaurant, you would have returned it, and thought it was a joke.
Beans- buy one get one free! Probably because it came from the bottom of the pot. I've never had dried crumbly refried beans before today. Didn't know it was possible you could get beans this dry. Tasteless!
Rice- An abomination! Shocker... also dry! There were so many dried out crispy hard pieces of rice that while you were chewing, you would have thought you were eating uncooked rice. Also incredibly bland.
We ended up throwing all of it out and ordered Taco Bell. It was terrible. Called the restaurant and no one answered the phone. So disappointed. "

"I started buying the teriyaki chicken bowl when this place was still called Bento Jolie‘s. This is the first time I’ve DoorDash it and I did notice some differences. First the portion size. The price has gone up as it has with everything, but also the little container that they use is not just shorter, but also not as deep as it used to be so there is less food altogether for a higher price. As for taste, the chicken is good. The rice is good, but they changed the teriyaki sauce and I don’t like this one as much as what they used to have. I hope they’ll read this and maybe switch it back because the other one was what made the dish."
