I even enjoyed the Sesame Ball (Dessert) which I wasn't sure about but didn't regret in the slightest. "The 1t. Vegetarian Spring Rolls (2 Rolls) picture needs to be updated as the picture shows a fried item. They have soft rice-wrappers and aren't fried. They were good.
The 35t. Stir Fry Noodles with fried Tofu was pretty small portions for the price. The noodles were in one sticky heap, with some sprouts, cut basil and sauce on the side. Once combined the noodles sort of unclumped but not really. It tasted good but was underwhelming for the price.

"The fried rice was full of peas and carrots and hardly any flavor or chicken. There was also no egg. The shumai were placed on top of a paper doiky so they had paper stuck to the bottoms. The salad was only lettuce mix and dressing. It's the worst we've ever had from here. I'm hoping it was an off night but we will not be trying again anytime soon. The hats a bummer."

Both meals came with huge portions of rice and peas, but the fresh salad was put in the same container as the hot rice and plantains so it was hot and wilted and had to be thrown away. The Jambalaya was very flavorful, but needs more sausage."

"I want to start by saying that I am not one of those people who writes reviews often but I do read the reviews of others when considering something new. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I'm sorry I don't have a picture to show because it was so AMAZING I ate it all. Don't judge me. I grew up in New York and really took the availability of good authentic Jamaican food for granted. After living in many parts of the south for many years I've grown skeptical of the Jamaican scene in the south. Don't get me wrong, I've had good Jamaican food in different areas over the years but most are mediocre at best while the locals seem to love it. This is not that place. I'm not going to lie, whenever I try a new restaurant I base my opinion on the ox tails to see if I will be back to even try anything else. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. In fact, to say that I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I was expecting a couple of small ox tails with mostly fat on them and very little meat. I was also expecting to get mostly rice and peas to hid the fact that nothing else is there in the hope that you get full on rice to not notice you hardly had any meat. Not the case. I was given 3 ox tails the size of my hand that was full of meat. I was getting full by the second one but it didn't stop me from continuing to fully indulge in the big back moment I was having. The rice was so good I could've ate it without the gravy, and the cabbage felt like somebody's grandma fixed them for me. Needless to say I will be back to try more from this restaurant and something tells me they will not disappoint. Sorry this review was so long but I hope it gives you an idea of how good the food is.
