"You don't really expect excellence when you order from iHop, but I think this one must be the exception. We've had several orders from here now and everything is always hot and fresh and REALLY delicious. But I really want to talk about the way they package your order. They have containers that seem to be special built for take out, which are compartmented so that things that don't go together, like something sweet with something savory, never run into each other. "The last couple times the scoops were very small. For the Banana Royale the first time I ordered it I received the 2 1/2 scoops like you're supposed to get, but the last two times we've ordered the scoops have been smaller. I don't know if it's because they're putting so many bananas on the bottom but we also order one single scoop in a cup and we compared them and the banana Royale gets maybe 1 1/2 scoops in size compared to our other order that was just 1 Single Scoop.

"The potatoes in the Oscar's Wicked Skillet were burned and there were very little vegetables in it. The jalapeños were even burned. The Cinnamon Rolls was hard on the bottom, like it sat in a warmer for too long. They usually put the icing in a cup on the side, instead they put it on the cinnamon roll while it was still hot and it had melted all over, making it soggy in places. It was inedible and I had to throw it away. I was really disappointed because their food is usually excellent but this order makes me reconsider getting food from them again. For the prices I paid I expected way better quality."
