"My boyfriend ordered three of the most delicious donuts I've ever tasted. These were not your typical greasy, dense donuts. They are about double the size of an average donut. The inside is light and reminiscent of a croissant. The three we ordered were the Homer covered in a bright pink traditional delicious donut frosting. The cake batter was by far our favorite. Because of the size of the donuts their simply isn't enough frosting. Hence why the cake batter was our favorite because it had additional cake frosting on top of the donut frosting. But that is pure gluttony. They are priced correctly for the size and fact that they use high quality ingredients. You can taste it and see in the manner in which they are decorated time went into making them. And they put on their box the nicest thank you. "

When you order banana pancakes you don't expect a few chunks of bananas sprinkled on top of your three buttermilk pancakes you expect them cooked in. Or bananas involved with the batter in some way.
Presentation on the SD French toast was horrible, plus a lot less fruit than in the picture and no power sugar.
The only reason they got 2 stars, the thick cut bacon is top notch. "

For the main dish, I ordered the Picadillo, which listed as a vegetarian dish on the doordash description, but arrived with ground meat in the mixture (unsure if it was beef or pork, neither of which I can eat so sadly I had to toss it). "La Bomba chilaquiles are my go to at Cocina 35. Very tasty with the perfect amount of spice. This dish normally arrives with the chips still crispy but this time it was on the soggy side. I added an extra side of the habanero salsa, which was just okay, and kind of expensive for a 3 oz portion for $3.75. Overall, I'd order the chilaquiles again but might try getting them deconstructed next time to avoid the sogginess."
