"This was our 20th anniversary dinner - at home. We've never been disappointed by Samurai and tonight was no different! My husband splurged with the filetFilet Mignon & Shrimp hibachi and he said it was awesome and that the steak "melted in his mouth." I ordered a favorite of mine, but I order it rarely because it's a pricey appetizer: Tuna Tataki. Oh my goodness! It's crusted lightly with a mild peppery dust and seared for just a moment, so it's still raw except for the crust. The ponzu sauce it's served with is *mwah* perfect! My main was the Spicy Maki Combo. I normally go for sashimi, but I was in the mood for something spicy. No regrets. All 3 types of rolls were delicious and succulent and just...yum. The pizza was good, but the star of the show was the smores 8" S'mores Dessert Pizza!!! OMG so good! The oven gave the marshmallows a perfect toast, much like being around the back yard fire pit!
Service was also great! The driver very helpfully brought plates, utensils and cups after noticing we were at a local hotel.
