"I ordered this meal from DoorDash and it came in a decent amount of time. The food was still hot as well when I received it.
I ordered the Brisket Platter with Mac and cheese and the greens. I really enjoyed everything for the most part.
The brisket was on a bed of fries but the fries were a little hard which I contributed to the traveling. Fries do not travel well as when they cool down the texture changes so I can't blame them too much for that. The Brisket was good but a little more fat still attached than what I'm use to. Some of the smaller pieces were more fat than meat. The texture of the brisket was pretty tender and the sauce on top was very good. I think it definitely added to the flavor of the brisket.
The Mac and cheese had a good amount of cheese which I appreciated. It could have been seasoned a little more but I still tore it up. I appreciate the noodles not being elbow macaroni! I think that helped the cheese distribution. I added a little more salt but is definitely order it again. I also got the greens on the side. They were also very good and spicy which was a pleasant surprise. I'd order that again as well!!
Overall I was very satisfied with my meal besides the fries. I'll try to reheat those in the oven or air fryer especially since it was so much fries that they gave me. The portions on the sides are great as well. You don't have to worry about not being full after you order from here. I would eat here again! Try it out yourself!!"
"I ordered the big Big Back Pack with Smack'n Mac'n Mac and Cheese and Gumbo Greens and Nana's Baked Beans. I also ordered the 10 Smoked Love Wings With Fries however they did not come with the or . The store advised they ran out of wings and would refund that back to me. The store also advised the dasher for a bag with my extra sides with the big back pack.
The Big Back Pack came with ribs chicken and beef brisket. The ribs were seasoned well. The chicken was ok needed more sauce or something. The brisket was ok kind of tough and fatty.
The Smack'n Mac'n Mac and Cheese wasnt bad it was just ok not the worse not the best. The Gumbo Greens is almost giving doctored up glory greens wasnt the worst but they was definitely not fresh. But maybe thats how gumbo greens are supposed to taste . Nana's Baked Beans was just ok.
Overall I gave it a 3 out of 5 . It was not bad. I would refer it to someone thats craving bbq. I always like to leave detailed reviews so someone like me wont be disappointed.
