"I really want to give an amazing rating because I've been frequenting Ricardo's for so many years, but it's just not the same. Sizzling Fajitas Especiales here are just not it. It's an "expensive" plate yet the least quality of food products and overall bland. Also, not allowing to modify a dish that is modifiable in the restaurant sucks! I'm a veggie person, but I do not love onions. In fact, I despise them. Most of the plate is onions. I added pre and post onion removal photos to show just how much. The peppers are never cooked enough, and most of the plate is onions. Sorry to leave a negative review, hopefully they change that. Husband says the California Burrito Special is good."

"Ordered chicken enchiladas from here and had a really disappointing experience.
I put in a special request for cheese and was charged an extra $9.05—but there was no cheese inside at all. Just a small sprinkle of cotija on top. To make it worse, their chicken enchiladas apparently don’t come with cheese inside to begin with, which wasn’t clear—and charging that much extra while not actually fulfilling the request is unacceptable.
The food itself didn’t make up for it either. The enchiladas were filled with dry chicken, the beans were oddly sweet (like sugar was added), and the Mexican rice was bland.
Also, be careful with special requests—they significantly upcharge (3x what it should be) and don’t seem to follow through. Honestly, it would’ve been cheaper to DoorDash a bag of shredded Mexican or Chihuahua cheese and add it in myself."

When it arrived, I picked it up from the floor, but it was leaking allover i am glad that the portion was small, as the first bite tasted gross , stale and a bit dusgusting. It apoears that they use stale seafood that should get thrown away. I paid 34.52 with tip included abd and received a few pieces of stale tilapia as well ad 3 shrimps. "TLDR Love this place, there have been no issues in person when ordering, but a warning/heads up this place for me has been very inconsistent with my online orders.
This place is on the way to/from work so I swing by usually in person and never have any issues with quality, staff, taste, forgetting something in the order. This is just a heads up for people ordering online.
I have ordered twice here online and both times I felt both times my order(s) were forgotten about and rushed to be made.
Order 1 - Chilaquiles , my go to here is great and I have no complaints with how it tastes, but when ordering online there is an option for adding a protein +3$ (something I have done in the restaurant always asada). The amount that I got I thought they had put the rest somewhere else. I usually order Tacos as well. The optional meat option of Asada didnt even give me enough meat to fill 1/3 of what is in their Tacos . It was like finding that one curly fry in your order but you paid 3$.
Order 2 - you see below is me trying again. The Chilaquiles came in what i can only described as separated. I got what looked like a bottom of a bag chips, 2 eggs on top, and the salsa, cheese, cream, all packaged on the individually packaged on the side. I also ordered it with asada again and this time there was none. Tacos this time were fine. "

Their machete is basically an oversized mulita thats soggy on the outside and super dry on the inside. There is barely any meat and whatever is there isn't seasoned or flavorful. Entirely too much cheese. Really disappointed in what I got vs what I paid for."
