"The Hot Chips were honestly the best Hot Chips my husband and I have ever had from anywhere. So so so good. "Fairy Kebabs and Pide are usually the best by far, of all the Kebab/Pide Shops in this region and have always been my 'Go-To' shop for Turkish Pide and Kebabs. This is because of the high quality, well made and delicious food and service they provide.
Unfortunately, last night however, this was not the case. It pains me to have to rate last nights meal/order only 2 Stars and to say that the Pide I received last night was very disappointing.
The non meat/cheese fillings (so, the onion, the mushrooms, the spinach, the olives and the sun-dried tomato) were all extremely undercooked, the onion was almost raw, the spinach was only slightly cooked by the looks and taste/texture of it, the olives and sun-dried tomato seemed to be in the same state as the spinach and the onion.
Now to the outside/casing of the Pide :
It seemed to be/was pretty undercooked also unfortunately.
And one end of it (four separate pieces of the it that made up the right hand end of it) was like it had barely been cooked at all, it was extremely light in colour, much lighter than the rest of the Pide and had no thin/crispy top parts at all, it was very, very dense and quite doughy.
Oh and the fillings also looked/seemed to have possibly been put inside the casings quite roughly and what looked/seemed to be quite haphazardly.
Lastly, the Pide was extremely oily.. 😔
(The right hand end pieces, the doughy, light pieces were slightly less oily than the rest of the Pide)
This has never happened before, so I'm not sure what happened last night. Like I said at the start of this review, Fairy Kebabs and Pide usually always have top quality, well made, delicious food, along with friendly and skilled staff.."

"These guys are normally on point all the time but I don't know; today everything tasted a bit off. Nothing was hot for starters which was slightly frustrating. Chips were nice and well salted but only the top ones. Bottom ones were bland and tasted like they were in old oil.
Kebab was bland too. Meat tasted old and re-heated and I didn't order double meat so I was surprised by how much was in there. If it had been hot and fresh that would be a positive but it also meant I couldn't taste much of the other toppings. Could also barely taste the garlic sauce.
Hoping this was just a one off and a me thing.

"After I placed my order I read the reviews and instantly had buyers regret but I waited to see for myself. The Brisket Burnt Ends (Large with Chips) was really good if the chips weren't there. The chips were awful and had no salt and were not deep fried, they were oven baked but the Burnt Brisket Ends were to die for. Beautifully tender and just falling apart in your mouth. The smokey sauce was also delicious. The Mind Your Biscuits (2) didn't come with the smokey butter but when we put our own butter on them they were really yummy when combined with the brisket ends. They tasted like savoury scones. The corn was disappointing. Whatever they used to season it took all the sweetness out of the corn so it was very bland but they were juicy and crunchy so not all bad. The store was very busy so it took over an hour to get to us but it is Anzac Day so that's to be expected and the fact the food was still quite hot by the time it got to us was also pretty good. 4/5 stars from us."
