Many times dough taste close to stale. Not the same as years ago. The custard is ok which makes the Boston Cream Donut what is....but again it's not like fresh custard. The custard taste and looks artificial. There is not a lot of custard inside the donut! They used to have more custard! The chocolate the same... it's just ok. They need a major overhaul and should change to artificial sweeteners , less sugar , and better quality and freshness in the dough."
