"We order the Orange Chicken frequently, but this is the first time using Door Dash. While the chicken itself was fine, the containers came half filled. While the containers are not always filled to the brim which we anticipate, this time it was so poorly filled that the 2 large containers combined filled 1 container. Essentially nearly $30 for a single container of chicken, and I ended up cooking a separate meal since it wasn't enough chicken to serve the entire family. Side of rice is always full but wish they also offered white rice as side order option when sharing. Egg Drop Soup is also a favorite, delicious in general but if I'm not feeling well it's also the soup I go to. Today also tried Wonton Soup which was also good, kinda like steamed dumplings in soup but could do with a little more of the filling.
Food is always well packaged to prevent spilling or smushing & keeping warm during delivery. Always tastes hot & fresh! - would like more than 1 fortune cookie though :)

The portions of the rice the lo mein is chefs kiss I think that it's a really good place. It's better than a lot of places I had. The rice is good. The shrimp is good. The chicken is good. It's very fresh and I'm definitely gonna order it again. It's so so so so fresh and I like the fact that they listen to the directions when I order stuff I often don't like vegetables or whatever I think it's important doing this time to really support small businesses. "I don't often write reviews but this place deserves it. It is easily the best Chinese food in the area. It's not even comparable. This place isn't "a bit better" than whatever the runner up is, it blows the competition out of the water! The only complaint I could muster is that the soup dumplings tend to stick and break by the time they're delivered in DoorDash, but that's not the restaurants fault just the sad reality of delivery.
Portions are very generous and my wife makes two meals out of what she orders. I usually cannot control myself so I finish everything (lol) but it would be enough to split into two. Everything I've had is well and strongly seasoned which is a big deal given the competition (very weak flavors).
To sum it up, fantastic food and I HIGHLY recommend you give them a shot. I lived where I do for years and had given up on finding decent Chinese food, randomly gave this place a shot and fell in love."

I’ve also ordered the loco moco on two separate occasions. The first time, the eggs were so overcooked that the edges were burnt to a crisp. The second time, I thought ordering scrambled eggs might solve the overcooking issue. Instead, the scrambled eggs were covered in black, charred pieces and dark brown oil. It was honestly gross.
My most recent order was over $80, including the musubi trio and two loco mocos with extra patties. Most of it ended up in the trash because I couldn’t bring myself to eat food prepared like that.
I really wanted this location to succeed and have continued giving it chances because I’ve enjoyed L&L elsewhere. Unfortunately, the quality here has not been reflective of the L&L locations I’ve experienced in Hawai‘i or California.
