Parrillada Margarita for 2 was absolutely amazing so much food and still piping hot when we received it and loved the way they packed it up it was beautiful.

we should have taken the negative reviews more seriously.
the chips and guac and red salsa were okay.
but the fried items---the stuff that should have been crispy/crunchy, wasn't. the flautas were leathery. the chimichanga was soggy, but plenty greasy. the chicken and beef in those apps was super unseasoned, if seasoned at all.
and the enchilada red/roja sauce? yikes. not bright or tangy or even saucelike at all. it was more like a thick, gloppy crust of tomato paste, oversweet, with weird pie seasonings in it.
also, speaking of weird, it's weird that you can't order a side of rice or beans with your combination dinner...but the *combination* dinner only gives you a choice of one or the other.
sorry to say that my recommendation as someone who loves all kinds of mexican food and has eaten mexican food in all kinds of restaurants everywhere from mexico to san antonio to oregon...and yes, in illinois...would be to avoid.

Disappointed, we ordered this again on 3/14/25 and were again disappointed but I thought the rating was on each item, not the order. The cheese dip was good. The nachos were ok, chips were soggy and cold, the extra bag of chips was smaller than normal and seemed store bought. The burrito was not toasted, the wrap itself was soft and cold, the vegies were uncooked. For $43, we won't be back.

I asked for extra veggies and less meat on the steak burrito and that is exactly what I got! It was very good.

Ceviche is delicious. Just wish they'd given us enough chips to actually enjoy all of it.
