Would recommend deleting the avgolomeno soup, Avoid gyros

Definitely start by looking  at the daily specials.

I've had many excellent meals from Christos.

The menu is huge, so it's important to look carefully at what you're going to order

Here are some of the dishes I've enjoyed

Tyropita
Feta and kasseri cheeses with a hint of mint baked in phyllo
Tavas
Is a flavorful lamb stew

Lamb shank
Is one of my favorite dishes, wonderful rich sauce, but is now getting too expensive

Historically, we used to order 
Fried calamari

Note that they describe the restaurant as an island taverna and if you realize that's what they're going for then you'll be pleased, by the result

The best Fresh Mediterranean Seabass Fillet in the country.  I'm originally from the Bay Area in CA and this is phenomenal absolutely the freshest and best.  The only bad thing I didn't get to see Gus tonight

The avgolemono soup tasted different and not as tasty as normal. The chicken kebab is always delicious though

I was a little disappointed that the calamari appetizer was mainly tentacles.
