possibly the best Fried Chicken & Waffle I've ever had. at the very least here in the Tampa area and in 10+ years. the spicy syrup is a perfect addition, and I'm so glad I paid extra for the the cinnamon roll waffle.  CHEESE GRITS have great texture, too. def getting again!

The chicken and waffles with strawberry butter was everything I hoped for. The chicken was crispy and seasoned just right, the waffle was fluffy, and the strawberry butter tied it all together with the perfect touch of sweetness. Every bite was comforting and satisfying without being heavy. Metro Diner really knows how to execute a classic done right. I would absolutely order this again.

Some of the best quality and priced Sunday comfort food I've ever had anywhere, let alone South Tampa(and I've lived here for 30 years). Big portions and absolutely delicious.

Cranberry sauce missing. Broccoli uncooked hard like a rock. Gravy too salty to use. Coke ALL ICE tiny bit of coke for over $4
