Komala Vilas is truly one of the best places for authentic South Indian food. Their soft whole wheat chapatis, ladoos, Mysore pak, everyday thali, and pillow soft idlis are just a few of my favorites. What I love most, though, is how comforting their food feels. On long, exhausting days, a meal from Komala Vilas feels a little like home and always helps ease the homesickness.

If you’re craving a solid South Indian meal, Komala Vilas understood the assignment.
Their daily thali is lowkey elite. The portions? Insane. Like they did not hold back at all. You’re definitely not leaving hungry. Everything tastes fresh, comforting, and actually feels worth what you’re paying.
Honestly, for the price, it’s a steal. Easy go-to spot when you want a proper, filling meal without overthinking it.

Kamala Vilas is the gold standard for authentic South Indian food. Every dish feels like it’s made with love and tradition, capturing the true flavors of the South. Their pickle is absolutely amazing—so flavorful and addictive that I honestly wish I could buy a whole bottle to take home!

Everything was great! This time the Vada (2) was softer too. They missed out the potato masala stuffing in the dosa, which was ok cuz mistakes happen. But the food taste n quality was amazing! This place became my go-to for dosa, idly and vada. The sambar was great and the coconut chutney was delicious with the right amount of spice. Will definitely order again:)

I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times , but this time I am really disappointed with the taste, the sambhar tasted like spoiled , the chana for 2 orders of chola bature was less, and the special item Peanut Kara Masala Dosa was average. The vadacurry and vada were delicious though. I hope they don't let the standards down.
