The broth was full of flavor with tender pork chunks, soft hominy, and a side of fresh, clean, prepped veggies ( cabbage, jalepeño, radish, lemon ). They also threw in some tostadas and chips with green and red salsas. Might I also mention I still have food left over, I appreciate their portions. This restaurant is FAR from mediocre, I enjoyed my entire meal from the beginning to the end. Also their glass bottled cokes are amazing and a grand size. "Food was tasty. The problem was that I wanted to order a side of beans to make my son something different at home. In the menu options they have the option in the sides for either beans or rice but it does not dive the option to choose which one you want nor the option to add special accommodation. My husband picked up my order and upon arriving my husband checked to make sure everything was accurate in the bag and noticed they packed a side or rice. My husband kindly asked a worker if she could switch the rice to beans since we wanted beans. She rudely said you ordered rice. My husband responded that there was only a option for both on the menu and we could not write it in either. "I got the al pastor burrito with a side of chips and salsa. When I took the burrito out, grease and oil had leaked through the loosely wrapped burrito and soaked through the bag until it was see-through. It was pretty gross, but I figured that meant it’d at least be flavorful.
I was wrong — the burrito was bland. The meat wasn’t seasoned enough, and there was a whole section that was just plain rice. The salsa I ordered was also flavorless and not spicy at all — basically tomato-flavored water.
