Anna's Taqueria came highly recommended to me by a Mexican friend. Carnitas and steak are good as are burritos and burrito bowls. The chocolate chip cookies are always fresh and delicious. The only item that I did not like was the carnitas quesadilla as it was too greasy. But my friend has tried so many Mexican restaurants in the Boston area and this is the only one that has not disappointed him. Another plus for me is that it is not hot and spicy. Which is nearly an oxymoron for Mexican food. Would this be better described as TexMex? Or is that term not used anymore?

Really disappointed that the carnitas meat in all of our burritos had mostly hard inedible pieces, the combinations of ingredients were wrong in our kids's burritos, there was basically zero lettuce in the burritos. We love Anna's but this was a huge let down on a night when everyone was looking forward to takeout .
