my comfort food. the best! I love the tofu bento box. the portions are perfect. I add an extra rice because it is *chefs kiss*. shabu shabu is so warm & comforting.

The meal was awful. The chicken teriyaki was completely tasteless and bland and tough. Our mouths hurt trying to chew it. The $19 portion of tuna tataki was a rip-off.  There was hardly anything to it.  The katsu was also dry and chewy. Really disappointing.

Probably the best value for what you get in this city when it comes to Japanese food. Portions are very generous even when it comes to the miso/shabu soups that come with the meals. I would say sashimi grade is average, but better than more than half the sushi places in Victoria. Overall pretty decent and will be ordering from here again :)

I don't usually write negative reviews but this was just awful. The fish in the sushi was chewy, The soba noodles were mushy and unseasoned, and the chicken was like rubber. I ate her years ago and it was real good. I guess times change.

I have ordered from Azuma Sushi for many years now.  There seafood is always very fresh.  One of my  favourites is the spicy scallop roll.
