I absolutely love this place! Better in every way, than any pizza place I've ever ordered from. Everything is made from scratch! the dough is A-maz-ing!! I swear, after you have Brooklyn's Calzones food, you won't want any other place! The pics of the Red Hook Calzone and Garlic Knots do not do this justice

Their calzones are delicious. Build your own is a great deal. Flaky crust, large portions, good ingredients. I was even glad to have cold marinara for the side which I was excited about - except it was sweet. Please don't give me some midwestern ketchup marinara. The garlic knots I ordered were like doughy pretzels without the garlic. Overall the calzone is on point. So good.

Brooklyn Calzones how could you do me like this?! haha. I order from yall almost weekly. $10.50 for a Ceasar Salad, that is barely the size of a side salad... and all romaine hearts with the rib, not romaine lettuce. I am actually shocked & super bummed out... You always knock it out of the park, but this is a huge flop. This is MAYBE a $2 salad... *sigh*
update: it has to maybe be the day staff. The Red Hook Calzone and Garlic Knots are subpar at best. The bottom of the Calzone completely peeled off on the paper in the box. The Red Hook Calzone that came is almost all cheese, a few mushrooms, I don't see any sausage, & minimum sauce. This has not Ever been the food I receive from this place.

AMAZING! For real, I stopped even eating pizza once I stumbled upon Brooklyn's Calzones late one night. I always get the Red Hook Calzone , which is always cooked to perfection and made with all fresh, good quality ingredients. The dough is honestly *chef kiss* and soft and yummy. & can we talk about that cheese pull?! YES! They use just the right balance of mozzarella with their bangin marinara & ingredients.
Oh! Don't forget to add the Garlic Knots as a side. They are the best I have ever, ever had. & again with the fresh dough!
Also, they have very big portions; one calzone is like what a folded in half a thin crust from some place is... only a 10/10. I get 2-3 ? meals out of my order.
* If you haven't tried them yet, do it! They never disappoint, & you'll never look at pizza the same again! haha *

The Red Hook Calzone is delicious,& the Garlic Knots are amazing. It's all fresh ingredients, made to order, and taste better than any pizza place. Plus it's a huge portin size; it's 2-3 meals for me.
