The after school special has a special place in my heart. Gooey cheese grillers and tomato soup; a nostalgic combination with a high quality, gourmet feel.  I have never once been disappointed from Burgoo

Generally I love Burgoo, the soup and grilled cheese is always delicious but I've been super disappointed the last few times we've ordered because the portion sizes are so small for the price. The side salad that came with the Straight Up Tomato + Salad was so small, 3 bites max and that with a soup and a small slice of bread for $24 is totally not worth it.

Pretty stingy on the dip not even half a cup, enough for maybe 6 chips. Mac and cheese burnt and without breadcrumbs. I miss when burgoo's photos matched the product they serve. Sad to see the quality go down, used to be a fave.

Used to love the El Cubano but seems it was discontinued.  The chicken pesto sandwich was under-seasoned but otherwise was fresh and good.   The Kale Cesar side was basically just Kale? Tons of Kale, almost no Parmesan and not nearly enough dressing for the portion size.  I had to add my own dressing from the fridge to even make it resemble a salad.  Usually enjoy Burgoo so hope it was a one off.

The "jerk" wings are not even close to proper jerk. Flavourless pre packaged coagulated sauce. Sad excuse for a jerk wing. Also $18 for 6 very poorly executed wings is just ridiculous.
