By far the best Mexican food I've ever had! The Tacos Rajas were delicious! No meat...and not missed! The chips, salsa and Chipotle crema are so yummy! The refried beans are like no other...epically good! If you haven't tried Cafe Mexico, you're definitely missing out!

The Burrito Barbacoa is the best beef burrito I've had in Victoria. Perfectly stringy cheese, tender flavourful beef, hot on arrival, fresh onion, perfect amount of spice, a great size for a full meal. So nice that it comes with chips, guac, and salsa. My Central American belly is very happy, I will order again many times. The salsa is not my favourite but the Chips and Guacamole & Salsa guacamole is the best.

These were not Tacos Chilangos. There were no nopales, just multi-coloured sweet peppers (which aren't supposed to be on these), and the flavour was extremely disappointing---all I could taste was bland button mushrooms & sweet peppers with some pickled onions. I order these specifically for the nopales.

If you are looking for the best tacos in Victoria, look no further. You can't beat Cafe Mexico. The Tacos Rajas are our favourite, with delicious smoky poblano peppers and the best refried beans you will ever taste.
Although we have eaten in the restaurant a number of times, we ordered takeout for the first time. It was the same fantastic food that we were served in person. I can safely say we will be adding Cafe Mexico to our list of regular spots!!
