The food is great, I love the cheese in the enchiladas because it's not just melted shredded cheese like at some other Mexican restaunts. Idk what Chapala's uses, but it's amazing. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the first couple of times ordering Chapala's from door dash, the orders were perfect. They read the details and special requests, etc, but these last 3 or 4 times the food has been wrong. I ordered the 3 cheese enchilada per usual, but got chicken so I couldn't even eat it. And I got a $5 refund for that $20 mistake... I ask for no rice and they put rice, no sour cream and they put sour cream. I love the food, but I won't order for delivery anymore so I can check the food at pick up.

First time to try this place and it was a win. The kids bean and rice burrito came with rice and beans so it was a really big portion. The sauce wasnt that good so next time I'll just say no sauce. The chile verde burrito did not have anything else inside but it did come with rice and beans so dont add those on. It was fork tender and not fatty and the sauce was incredible. I had some jalepenos and sour cream at home that I added on top and it was to die for. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the ordering on DoorDash is confusing. You dont know for sure if ever comes with rice and beans, but it does. Also, it was too pricey for us. We had a gift card from Christmas, so we used that this time. It may be worth the money to go in person and experience a hot sit-down meal, but there should be a discount for take-out.

For our taste, these are the best chili rellenos in the valley! And the trio mocajete is always excellent; superb flavor with just the perfect amount of heat! Love it!

We order from Chapala's because my husband loves the tacos asadas. I ordered the Mexi burger and the bun was so stale I couldn't bite through it. The cook had to notice when he made my order. I also thought the extra guacamole we ordered was way overpriced. We received about 2 tablespoons for $5:00. I will say that they deliver in record time.

This is all you get for $15.25, one single picadillo enchilada. No beans, rice, nothing else. I called the store and was told they have nothing to do with DoorDash, its door dashes issue for them charging $15 for one single enchilada!!?
