I just can't stop ordering the XO Sautéed Scallops With XO Sauce/Xo酱炒鲜贝 because they're so good. Which is a shame, because plenty more looks good here. I did manage to try the Stir Fried Lamb with Green Onion/葱爆羊肉 which for me was nice, gentle comfort food and very moist and flavourful. Five Spices Braised Beef Shanks/五香干切牛肉 was nicely seasoned and had good chewiness. Fried Rice/炒饭 was good (I finally tore myself away from their Chinese Sausage Fried Rice for once, which also tends to shut down my variety because it's soooo good).
This time there was one bad spot: my Bun With Condensed Milk/炼奶馒头 arrived with a molten/damaged container of the milk, which spilled everywhere so I didn't really get a dessert. Ugh
But the rest is so good I will always go back for more.

Less wonderful this time round than for my first review. There was no mention on the menu that Stir Fried Scallops with Black Pepper/黑椒鲜贝 and Lemon Chicken/柠檬鸡 were going to be *breaded*. That makes the chicken into a mush and is simply a crime with otherwise fresh, firm scallops. The Sautéed Bok Choy with King Oyster Mushroom/杏鲍菇菜心 was well-prepared and had a great texture. Fried Rice With Dried Scallops And Egg-Whites/瑶柱蛋白炒饭 was just as good this time as it had been the first - unusual, and wonderful.
Only 3 * so I expect I'll only go back for my previous favourites and the baby boks.

Second time round with Chef Sha. The quality of the food and prep is always :100: here. I found that the Sautéed Scallops With XO Sauce/Xo酱炒鲜贝 were much spicier this time, which is a problem - I love the crunchies and scallop texture but didn't expect them to quietly spice up (further) without notice.
Both forms of beef shanks were good (5-spice a bit more to my taste).
So I've moved them to my be-ready-for-serious-spiciness bin, but continue to love the food here and will return for more.

My first time with Chef Sha! Everything was well-prepared from high-quality greds. I ordered for a late dinner (hopefully less spicy) plus a next-day lunch (more spicy is OK). So the Sauteed XO Scallops were good for dinner - lots of good crunchies and texture - and the Shrimp Fried Rice. The Mongolian Lamb Legs really had to be saved for lunch - they were tender but pretty way spicy. And I am always a fan of well-prepared Dan-dan Noods, which these were, but also way red-oil hot so be ready.
I will return myself for more and can definitely recommend.

Im not sure why there are so many reviews for the xo Sautéed Scallops With XO Sauce/Xo酱炒鲜贝. They are deep fried scallops with very little sauce or flavor. I would not recommend them over other menu items. The Spicy & Sour Layered Beef Tripe/酸辣草原肚was very good; howver, the majority was sauce and peppers. This made it tasty but the actual portion size was rather small. The Spicy Dandan Noodle were ok. They are vegetarian no matter what which is not my preference. The noodles and sauce are served separately which is nice for long term storage. I would go back for mala flavors but would not order these items.
