This is the best meal we have had in a while. The Chicharron / Crackling was not greasy at all. It was crispy and a bit salty and complemented the Arepas con Queso (3) really well. The arepas movda bit during transport but they were still delicious. The star of the show was without a doubt the Bandeja Paisa! We bought one to share and it was a bad idea. My husband barely let me have a bite. The frijoles were sooo good that I could have eaten them by themselves.

We decided to enjoy a nice Colombian breakfast, starting with one of my favorite dishes: bandeja paisa. This dish was truly a masterpiece and could easily feed a small village. It is the ultimate buffet on a plate, featuring pork belly, beans, rice, sausage, steak, avocado, plantain, egg, and an arepa. After consuming this meal, we were left in a food coma for hours.
We also ordered their churrasco, which was another generous portion. It included rice, avocado, fries, eggs, and steak topped with a flavorful sauce. To wash it all down, we enjoyed a natural drink. Blackberry drink with milk.

Wow, that was an experience! When the comments mention generous servings, believe it! I had enough food for two meals, and I enjoyed the variety of offerings. The rice and beans was outstanding, as was the plantain. The salchipapas were a tasty combo of decent fries and really good little sausages with excellent, piquant sauces. I didn't enjoy the main dish as much as I hoped. I'm really pleased to have discovered Colonia!

the plate Bandeja Paisa was terrible. Only one eggwas cooked hard instead of having runnyy oke. I ordered my steak medium rare it was over cookd to well. very little steak. For $24 I am super disappointed

I enjoyed the food a lot. I would order from them again. The sauces that came with Bandeja Paisa and Llapingachos (3) were great complements to the dishes. I usually don't eat beans but these were flavorful and tasty.
