Don't hate! The Mashed Potatoes & Gravy and Macaroni & Cheese are FIRE!!! I ordered two pieces of perfectly seasoned Fried Chicken but got FOUR. The Buttered Corn is cooked perfectly but needs more salt. I love Golden Corral for the value and food.

Although I never got the Dr Pepper the dark meat Fried Chicken was larger than average pieces, juicy, and well seasoned. The macaroni and cheese was better than I would have expected. The mashed potatoes are a bit watery, flavorless, and very little gravy. I'd order the chicken dinner again, just choosing a different side from the mashed potatoes. I thought the chicken was far better than KFC and others specializing in fried chicken.

All 5 of my Church friends were really hungry ! However we couldn't agree on where to go OR what type of food. :( Then I googled Buffet style and we were inspired ! The menu variety was awesome. Our agreement was to try Golden Corral ! We walked in and the aroma was magnificent. The price was very reasonable , we felt , as well. I dove right in to Shrimp piled on top of my salad. Brian took Steak with mushrooms and grilled onions. Mary had Salmon and green beans and the best Fried Chicken she ever ate. Walter was happy with moist steaming Meat Loaf and Mashed Potatoes and beef gravy with a big bowl of hot buttered Sweet Corn. Also fresh hot Corn bread, the real thing, man. 2 different soups on hand - delicious Homestyle Chicken Noodle and real meaty Chili ! Desserts ? Are you kidding me ? A fountain of Chocolate to top whatever you opt for. Cakes - Pies - Mousse - Ice Cream - Jello - Cookies - Icee type spout and like 6 flavors...the Entrees are so varied and beautifully crafted ! Same for appetizers,salads,soups, desserts,etc etc etc ! I cannot stress it enough...! If you want quality and variety at an all-you-can-eat emporium that gives you the biggest bang for your bucks , you got to go to GOLDEN CORRAL !! Hands down , people. For real ! For sure ! Amen.

Nice small Meal of Meatloaf , Mashed Potatoes with gravy, green Seasoned Pinto Beans , Yeast Rolls, Macaroni & Cheese & Fried Chicken. The only thing that was lacking was the portion of meatloaf. wasn't Worth the price & portion definitely was for 4 people. I'm Glad I ordered chicken too.

The portion of Smoked Pulled Pork was ok but it was a little Dry and bland. The Baked Beans were delicious and best I've had. Yeast Rolls were a good size. Minute Maid® Lemonade (Half Gallon/ Gallon) was nice.🌹
