• 3/2/25The Mul Mandu, Bulgogi (Beef Bulgogi) , and the Dak Bulgogi (Chicken Bulgogi) were delicious. Unfortunately there still were mushrooms in the Dark Bull, so it wasn't safe to eat for everyone. I LOVE their Japchae and it was FANTASTIC! It's such a wonderful dish and I was so grateful that they made sure to eliminate the mushrooms so everyone was able to enjoy it! I love this restaurant. The food is always fresh and flavorful! I would have included a spicier dish, but not everyone is able to handle spicy food. I rated them a full 5 stars, despite them missing taking out the mushrooms from the Dak Dak Bulgogi (Chicken Bulgogi) when I let them know that we had allergies. I did it because getting Japchae without mushrooms is tough. I applaud them for being one of the restaurants that allows customers to tell them about allergies to ingredients and get those ingredients omitted Kudos & Thanks to you, Hoban!

• 1/3/26hoban has been a personal go-to for years. They serve excellent food,and Yang Yum Drumsticks are my favorite chicken in the twin cities area.they do such classics as Beef Bulgogi competitively well, and whether you're ordering to go or getting the in store experience, I've never been disappointed.

• 12/23/25The Bibim Naeng Myun was easily my favorite thing I've ever ordered on doordash. A beautiful sweet heat. Definitely try it! Generous portion and delicious. I helped cool the spice with the Fresh Peach Drink and it was perfection.

• 8/24/24The Shrimp Tempura was delicious and included onions, zucchini and mushrooms covered in a delicious fluffy batter. Since sweet potato was not included, we ordered a side of that. It was quite huge but well worth it, and the leftovers crisped up beautifully in the oven the next day! The shrimp tempura was slender but perfectly cooked although it had panko crumbs, not tempura batter. The galbi had an amazing rich flavor that was caramelized on the edges. We had kimchi japchae, but it was disappointingly burnt on the bottom which took over the flavor. The side dish set included marinated bean sprouts, kimchi, broccoli, a crispy cold root vegetable, mild flavored fish cake and a finely riced potato salad studded with flavorful surprises. We ordered no change to the spice levels, and everything was within our love of spicy food.

• 9/26/25Wings had some flavor and some punch but they were kind of dry and chewy and did not scream Korean flavor. Served on a bed of some weird type of slaw that really didn’t go with wings at all. I got a door dash deal so they were less than $10 but still. A lot of better chicken wings in the area- LynLake Brewing, Lucé, BB.Q, Bonchon and even Wingstop. Not a great take out experience but dining in at Hoban can be fun.
