• 5/14/25One of my favorite places to eat, always great! I tried the Kentucky Bourbon Burger for the first time and enjoyed it a lot with the sweet bourbon flavor. Will definitely re-order it again. Their Sweet Tea (16oz) is just the best. I usually order a gallon at a time. So glad we have a place that is like going over to your grandparents to eat, really homey!

• 8/28/25I am new to this area and decided to try this place out due to the great reviews and OMG! I got the Mama's Meat Loaf everything is full of flavor and cooked perfectly, fresh and perfect portions, and it even comes with a free side of cornbread. For my two sides I got the potato salad(potatoes cooked perfectly) and the collard greens. the cornbread has like a honey butter on it, so delicious . I'll definitely be ordering from here again trying a different dish.

• 4/15/26I love this restaurant and the Kentucky Bourbon Burger is one of my favorites! It is $$, however you don't walk away hungry! They also have great sweet tea!I love restaurants that happily lets you add extra onions which I prefer with Kentucky Bourbon Burger . There has not been one meal where I was disappointed, everything has been great!!

• 4/28/25I have been not so good food lately not the dasher but the restaurant, but the meal I just had from here had to be some of the best I have had in a long time, the potato salad, Mac and cheese and turkey with gravy and stuffing was amazing and the bread pudding was delicious and even the pineapple lemonade is amazing

• todaythis was my first time eating at this place. I had high hopes. I NEEDED some collard greens , which is why i went with this place. the collards were good, though a bit too sweet, but I add vinegar and texas Pete no matter what so wasnt too sweet in the end and they were alright.
the bad was my Yardbird Chicken Sandwich . it was soooooo dry and hard. upon looking it was 2 pieces of chicken. maybe tenders but they was not tender at all. hard to bite and hard to swallow :(
my daughter got a bit BLT Sandwich Combo and the bread was so soggy. so she didnt eat that.
the Carolina Style Burger was apparently good. my son loved it and he said it was very good and the burger was thick.
the German Chocolate Cake was ok. not too sweet which is good. wasnt very chocolaty.
not sure I'd eat here again :(
