Koong's has a style of food that is so hard to find in this area! It reminds me of SoCal Americanized Chinese food in the best way.  They have good portions, tender meat, and  a variety of options. My favorite dishes are the curry beef, lemon chicken, and chow fun!

Was feeling under the weather and craving hot and sour soup and lemon chicken. The serving size is perfect and as expected for the price listed. The hot and sour on doordash lets you add pork or shrimp, so I added pork. This hot and sour is good if you are looking for a more basic hot and sour; it had bamboo, egg, tofu, but not mushrooms. They packaged it very nicely and I would definitely order again. As someone who grew up eating a lot of American Chinese food sit down and takeout, this restaurant is super nostalgic and the flavors were great. There's a lot of parking too. They also give 2 soy  packets and 1 chili oil container. I highly recommend this place.

Food tasted great, not over seasoned and everything was fresh.  We got the Mongolian beef, vegetable dish, fried rice and honey walnut prawns.  Nice tender and not fatty beef,  love that the sauce for the prawns was on the side they were not overly breaded so they had a nice little crunch.  Overall super happy and satisfied.

Food arrived quickly, but was barely warm.  The quantity was fair and the broccoli was crisp, but the orange chicken was dry & chewy and the fried rice was oily.  The food quality was similar to next-day leftovers.   We received 1 fortune cookie for our $100 order.  Overall very disappointed.  This meal wasn't what Koongs used to be.

Food here is consistently VERY good, plus I'm very happy that they labeled the plates for each person in my 20-person group order - loved this!! They even bagged separately the orders with multiple items to make it easier on us.  100 stars!  Really great Chinese take-out!
