This is my first time trying this restaurant, even Peruvian food in general. It was amazing. The Half of Juanita's Chicken is juicy and tender and super well seasoned. The Arroz Chaufa is huge in portion and flavorful. Definitely will try more

Pio Pio 6 on the corner of 94th and Amsterdam is one of a small chain of Peruvian restaurants in the city. Although I've only tried two I suspect they are all good choices for authentic food and drink. In recent days I only order delivery or take out but if memory serves the wait staff are friendly and efficient. For my needs the delivery is always prompt and well packaged. While their chicken dishes are the most popular I can attest that virtually all the dishes are well prepared and tasty, especially the lomo saltado and seafood entrees and children always love the hot dogs. I usually order the jalea, a wonderful fried mixed seafood selection available in half and full size portions. It is accompanied by their famous green sauce, also sold in larger sizes for home consumption. Highly recommended!

Outstanding food. Quarter chicken, white meat, was delicious--as was the avocado we ordered. Flan was excellent although a thin slice. Love that Inca Cola too! Overall a great meal.

I understand it's a lunch special but you gave me an extra large plate of rice and beans, but the tiniest piece of chicken so not too thrilled especially for the price. It was a decent meal definitely think the hotdog and fries could've been cheaper, but timeframe was decent also.Rice 7/10 fried and dog 8/10

Food is always good no matter which POPO you go to get it from. I usually eat from Pop pop at least three times a week and the sangria is out of this world. Once you taste the sangria, you won't want sangria from any other place
