I just had a revelation. When did I ever enjoy a bowl of ramen from a restaurant? Not just have lunch or eat ramen, but really liked it? This has got to be the first time.
The Black Miso Ramen just hit all of the right buttons. The broth's flavor is intense. I'm more used to an intense flavor. I do have Americanized-tastes. The broth also beautifully coated the noodles. Other restaurant ramens tend to not have much flavor mixed in with the noodles.
There were more toppings and noodles than soup, and at first I thought it would have been a bad thing, but I ended up enjoying it. If they screwed up, I like the screw-up. If not, good choice.

Everything was delicious, fresh, well packaged, and so much more reasonable in price than HiroNori. My new favorite local ramen joint for sure!

"Black" Miso Kakuni Ramen was slightly above average, spicy wasn't very spicy and I found the pork quite tough compared to most Ramen spots I go to. Everything else was as expected, no wow factor. 7/10 in my book.
