The meal was solid overall—great flavor, good portion size, and definitely a good value. Everything was cooked through, including the shrimp, which I appreciated. The only thing I’d have preferred is a bit more of that traditional teppanyaki style finish. Some grill marks or browning on the shrimp would’ve added that extra visual and flavor punch. Still, I’d order it again.

This was the most horrible food I ever ate. I was not only COLD, it was horrible like it had all been in old frying oil. I have requested my money back but no one will get back to me. I am so upset and disappointment it isn't even funny. I had to throw away the entire order. My grandchild wouldn't even eat it. The so called dumplings were the size of my pinky finger, cold, and fried in very old oil. The shrimp, well there was no shrimp in there. 57.00 down the drain.

This place is fantastic. The CHICKEN BENTO was amazing. Good portions and very reasonably priced. I can't recommend this place enough.

Having recently savored the flavors of Sarku Japan, I delved into their menu, opting for the SHRIMP TERIYAKI, CHICKEN TERIYAKI, and DUMPLINGS. The dumplings, while tasty, left me yearning for the quintessential potsticker sauce that often accompanies them. Although soy sauce sufficed, it’s undeniable that a well-crafted potsticker sauce would have enhanced the experience. What truly stands out is the affordability of their offerings, setting them apart from pricier counterparts within the realm of Japanese cuisine. While I’m inclined to bestow four stars, it’s due to the faint tinge of fast food influence in the dishes. Notably, the mixed vegetables seemed to hail from a frozen package, finely shredded but lacking vibrancy. Nonetheless, the overall experience leans toward the positive spectrum, enticing me to reorder from Sarku Japan in the future. However, I would perhaps save such a craving for occasions when my desire for Teppanyaki-style dishes is not at its peak.
