Good food. I've had numerous things from this place and it's all been good. I especially like the variety of veggie dishes (eggplant, okra), the butter chicken (always my go to over tika masala), and the lamb/mutton choices.

The mediocre: The middle cup was the $5 mango shake.  We laughed at the size! It tastes great, but very small.

The star:  The star of the show is their cilantro chutney.  It's Fantastic! Best I've had around here.

We also got butter chicken (good) and samosas (similar flavor as other places, but softer, so better).

Tamarind has gone downhill. Half the amount for an increased price on both the korma and the samosas. Won't be going back. Always tastes great but its a ripoff now.

Dusproportionate butter chicken to rice.  Horribly expensive for hardly any butter chicken.  what I got was tasty, but there was nothing there.

Overall, the food was outstanding. For the price, I expected more from the Tamarind Special (the chicken was a bit dry and there were only two pieces of shrimp). However, the flavors were exceptional.
