Quanity, Quality and Presentation is everything with City Fish. The Fish and Chips, it was delicious, fish was cooked to perfection fresh and moist. The batter seasoned to just right, no need for lemon or tartar sauce. However I couldn't let the tartar sauce go to waste, it was sooo good it became dip for yummy fresh fries.
The Salad I purchased was crab and shrimp combo the presentation beautiful. You have fresh crab and quite a bit, it's real crab, not that imitation stuff and the shrimp was fresh tasty. It reminded me of my younger days in San Mateo, lunch was something to look forward to. Across the street from my employer was the best restaurant who's name I can't remember, but I loved its ambience. My order was always the same a Crab Louie salad with sourdough bread. This City Fish's, Fish and Chips took me back years. I had not purchased Fish and Chips in years because I could not find a place that even compared to the smell or taste of the fish and chips of my youth. Now it's fish Friday im not feeling well and I had my mind on fish and chips then I saw the crab and shrimp salad, we will give it a try. I go to the reviews see what's up with City Fish and Chips I scroll through the reviews boy the first half were all 5 stars pictures looked mouth watering with healthy portions. I took a chance and hit the jack pot City Fish is my end all This will be my go to anytime I crave fish, salads and all City Fish offers on its menu. You will have to taste for yourself. City Fish is now on very few list of places I will eat. Oh did I mention how picky, that's the reason for such a short list, as I'm also creature of habit if I find a decent place to eat I stick with it. Basically I have places for different cravings such as BBQ, Hispanic food etc., a creature of habit. Not only am I a Fan of City Fish and Chips but from this day a devoted customer.

I doordash from The City Fish often for lunch. By far the BEST place to order food from. Portions are way more than enough! The fish and vegetables are always fresh, so good!! Love ordering at The City Fish!!

A delicious and generous portion of freshly fried fish with lemon slice and tartar sauce served on a bed of shredded lettuce. They also vent the take out box so the fish doesn't get soggy while in transit to you. Will definitely order from this restaurant again.

They did two things very well - they vented the container for 1 Piece Fried Fish where so many restaurants do not. Because of this, the fish arrived hot and crispy. In addition, they shipped the lobster roll sandwich with the cherry tomatoes in a separate cup - this ensured pleasing plating, and that the sandwich was not soggy upon delivery. Also the portion was very generous! A solid cup full of tomatoes, and the roll itself made a meaty 'thunk' when placed on my table. Thanks!

This is what City Fish is famous for: fresh ingredients, well prepared, well seasoned, tasty and arrives hot. The grilled salmon portion was ample as was the grilled chicken breast. Cold slaw and rice sides were tasty and well appointed.
