I have eaten Zeni for over a decade, and nothing else hits the spot!! I always get the Vegeterian Combo. It is the Best of the Bay and stiff competition for my spots off Fairfax back home. I do wish you could order additional injera, but I think they are reading the reviews, and I had ample for this order. Thank you!

We have always loved Zeni. The one thing I did not like before was how oily the food could be, which made me stand at the sink to remove the oil before eating. Not anymore! I ordered today and the collard greens were fresh and not oily at all. The red lentils, a family favorite, were also significantly less oily than before and delicious. I absolutely love this new trend. Thank you, Zeni chefs, for the great work. Their injera is the best and softest I have had, and the portion sizes are very good.

This is my go to option here if I want some with meat. The chicken is so juicy and flavorful! Plus, the portion is perfect for two with leftovers for lunch!

Absolutely the best! Get the Yedoro Kitfo if you like chicken with a little spice, Alitcha Wot for lamb stew - family favorite, and scrambled eggs (add feta on your own) for something nice with the sour taste of that injera!

We have been eating at Zeni for more than 20 years and it never disappoints! Every dish is consistently delicious, well prepared, fresh and the portions are generous! We will keep coming back for years to come!
