At this time I would specifically not recommend the mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers, if only because it appears they bake them in a different flour that becomes really really dry (as a fan, I suggest EHP advertise that they're baked not fried, assuming baked are supposed to be that dry); and the mozzarella sticks they use appears to be a different product than their normal, really good cheese. Specifically, the sticks dry and harden into these plasticky things that don't taste very good. If you're reading this EHP, please seriously consider another brand of sticks, & be careful to pack the soda separately. Don't get me wrong though - **DEFINITELY** get the pizza and garlic bread. "The food was very good, especially the Lahori chickpeas and onion naan. I used to visit the now-closed Bismillah in San Pablo and read that this was the same group. It’s not exactly the same, though I preferred the naan and chickpeas here.
The lamb chops were overcooked and missing their rice. The Chicken Tikka Masala sauce was excellent. The medium spice needed more heat. but not enough to warrant ordering spicy. The San Pablo Bismallah doesn't give a choice but it was always perfect for my taste. if I go in and order that may be something I can work out. not their fault. My biggest issue was the yogurt-like coating on the meat, which changed the texture and reduced the tandoori char. I preferred the chicken at the old Bismillah.
The shop is great, with a fresh meat counter, good products, and lovely staff. I’d return, but may order different meat dishes."

"The Methi (Fenugreek) Malai Chicken had zero flavor intensity. Couldn't taste the spices at all. The Aloo Gobhi (Potato Cauliflower) (Vegan)vegetable curry had almost no sauce which left the vegetables nicely fresh and firm and wasn't greasy but I would have liked a larger container with way more sauce to coat the Golden Rice which was fine. I'm so tired of restaurants with highly processed naan from a frozen mass market bag. What's the point if it's not freshly baked. We should only be paying $1 for it. Only Shalimar gets that right char and tandoor Butter Naan which is completely gummy and needs to be toasted at home a little. Nothing out of the ordinary. Meh on the whole cuisine. I was excited when I opened the naan, as it was hot, soft, and apparently fresh, but that's where my happiness ended.
The palak paneer was super watery and slid right off the naan, and the tandoori chicken was woefully underseasoned, though I will say it was juicy and otherwise prepared well.
