"Excellent Chicken Biryani (although it was too spicy for me to finish). The spiciness is hardly the restaurant's fault, and I should have requested a milder level of heat. Nevertheless, the dish was obviouly well-prepared and flavorful with a good amount of boneless chicken for the price. I also enjoyed the Daal and Onion Naan . "The Methi (Fenugreek) Malai Chicken had zero flavor intensity. Couldn't taste the spices at all. The Aloo Gobhi (Potato Cauliflower) (Vegan)vegetable curry had almost no sauce which left the vegetables nicely fresh and firm and wasn't greasy but I would have liked a larger container with way more sauce to coat the Golden Rice which was fine. I'm so tired of restaurants with highly processed naan from a frozen mass market bag. What's the point if it's not freshly baked. We should only be paying $1 for it. Only Shalimar gets that right char and tandoor Butter Naan which is completely gummy and needs to be toasted at home a little. Nothing out of the ordinary. Meh on the whole cuisine. They need to up their game. Might give other dishes their a chance but the prices are too high."

I immigrated from India to US 12 years ago and have tried a lot of South Asian food across the country and haven't had a biryani this juicy, this perfectly seasoned, and this delicious in a very long time. It's the perfect flavor and texture. I have devoured it using my hands every time I've ordered it. Bowl made 2 meals though it coulda shoulda been 3 or 4 days meals. I had to lick the container clean at the end. The samosa was really good and came w 2 dipping sauces.
