The Palak Paneer was heavy on cardamom flavor with too many cardamom pods in the chewing. "The food was very good, especially the Lahori chickpeas and onion naan. I used to visit the now-closed Bismillah in San Pablo and read that this was the same group. It’s not exactly the same, though I preferred the naan and chickpeas here.
The lamb chops were overcooked and missing their rice. The Chicken Tikka Masala sauce was excellent. The medium spice needed more heat. but not enough to warrant ordering spicy. The San Pablo Bismallah doesn't give a choice but it was always perfect for my taste. if I go in and order that may be something I can work out. not their fault. My biggest issue was the yogurt-like coating on the meat, which changed the texture and reduced the tandoori char. I preferred the chicken at the old Bismillah.
The shop is great, with a fresh meat counter, good products, and lovely staff. I’d return, but may order different meat dishes."

"Wow! We've had some pretty subpar Indian on Door Dash and this is by far the best Indian food I've had in a long time! I'm so tired of restaurants with highly processed naan from a frozen mass market bag. What's the point if it's not freshly baked. We should only be paying $1 for it. Only Shalimar gets that right char and tandoor Butter Naan which is completely gummy and needs to be toasted at home a little. Nothing out of the ordinary. Meh on the whole cuisine. "I recently tried the Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set at 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine, and it was a great experience overall.
The Chicken Momo lapping was the highlight. The momos were soft, juicy, and well stuffed with flavorful minced chicken. The “lapping” style, covered in a rich, slightly spicy sesame based sauce, added a creamy and tangy kick that made the dish stand out. The sauce was balanced not too spicy, but enough to give a nice warmth. The portion size was generous and perfect for sharing, although I could easily finish it myself because it was that good.
The Khana set felt like a complete and comforting meal. It came with rice, dal, vegetable curry, chicken curry, achar, and salad. The rice was fresh and fluffy. The dal was simple yet comforting, with a homestyle Nepali flavor. The chicken curry was tender and well cooked, with spices blended nicely without being overpowering. The achar added the perfect spicy and tangy contrast to the meal. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, just like traditional Nepali home cooking.
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Overall, I would definitely recommend 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine for anyone craving authentic Nepali and Indian food, especially their Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set. I will definitely be going back again."
"The Dahl Tadka tasted like thickened grease fat from the bottom of the pan, like you would use to make buskits and gravy. It had no flavor other than fat and salt. I ordered two in hopes that it would be great, but couldn't eat either of them.
I have never had such an experience with any Indian Dahl dish before .
The soup was very tasty and the broth flavorful. I hoped to have it mild as I was recovering from surgery and was supposed to avoid spicy food. I'll order the soup again when I'm feeling better"
