"This branch has been quite impressive. There are three in my region that deliver and we ordered from here by mistake. But just like Bob Ross loves to say, this was a happy accident. The meat isn't lacking and still generous compared to the other branches. I've been a huge fan of their Picante Mariscos since I was a kid and this place takes it to another level. The potatoes aren't offensively large either and evenly distributed. And despite being further than our closer branch, the food arrives piping hot and fresh. Which is impressive. Its not a dasher specific thing since we've had many different dashers deliver. That being said, would I order again? Let's say this branch has been so impressive that we order here at least once a week now. I'm not sure if the back of house staff is Filipino since this is the Carson branch, but they definitely get that homey warm vibes I'm fond of growing up with that kind of food found in the Philippines. "I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Bowl and overall the taste was good. However, the price for what I received did not make sense. The bowl was mostly grains and veggies with only 5 pieces of tenderloin. I figured, for the prices there would be more, or larger slices of beef. The flavor was excellent but I can't justify spending this much on a bowl that has minimum pieces of the pricey ingredient while the rest of the ingredients are relatively inexpensive."

"Honestly, I really wanted to support this place because I think they have a really good thing going on. I like what they’re trying to do with organic food, and I understand that running a business is hard. That’s actually why I wanted to leave an honest review instead of just writing the place off.
The last time I ordered a meal, it came with two pancakes. There’s an option to substitute the regular pancakes for gluten-free pancakes for an extra charge, which I paid. When my order arrived, I got ONE gluten-free pancake instead of the two pancakes that came with the meal. Nothing anywhere said that if you choose gluten-free, you’re going to pay more and get less food. I honestly thought it was just a mistake.
Then there was the horchata coffee. The order gives you milk options, so I selected oat milk and was charged extra for it. Nobody told me that the horchata already comes made with whole milk. So I paid extra for a milk substitution that apparently wasn’t even possible. Again, I thought maybe it was just a misunderstanding.
So I decided to give them another chance and ordered again. This time, they actually called me and explained that the horchata already had whole milk in it and refunded me for the almond milk I selected. I will give them credit for that. They were nice enough to call, explain it, and refund the charge.
But then the rest of the order was a mess.
I ordered one pancake for myself and one for my coworker. They sent both pancakes stacked on top of each other in ONE box. No utensils. One syrup. The horchata latte came with NO STRAW.
And then one of the pancakes was burnt and tasted like straight skillet. It looked nothing like the pancake I received the last time. The other pancake had corn on it, which was a problem because my coworker has a slight corn allergy.
At this point, I’m honestly just sitting here looking crazy because I’m the one who recommended this place to my coworker.
I’m not writing this review because I think they’re a bad business or because I don’t appreciate what they’re trying to do. I actually think they have a really good concept, and I understand that things happen. But when you have multiple small issues happening across multiple orders, eventually it becomes frustrating for the customer.
The positive way I’m choosing to look at this is that these are things the business can actually look into and improve. Better communication about substitutions and ingredients, making sure portions match what’s advertised, checking orders before they go out, making sure utensils and condiments are included, and just paying a little more attention to consistency could make a huge difference.
I’ve tried to support this place because I genuinely like what they’re doing. Some of this review is definitely negative, but I’m hoping they take it as constructive criticism rather than an attack. I’d rather see them fix these things and succeed than see them lose customers over issues that are honestly pretty easy to address.
I wish them the best and hope they take some of this feedback into consideration, because I do think they have something good going here."
