"Well. Now, I have a problem. Do I possess enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe what I am eating? I hope to do it justice.
First, the Hungarian Mushroom Soup . Exquisite. Earthy mushrooms, smoky paprika with a mild spiciness, sweet onions, a splash of cream, and then the revelation: bright dill, which elevates the entire dish. Generous portion for a $9 bowl of house-made soup! It will be a part of every future order. I'm saving half for later.
French Dip . First of all, I think they made the potato chips? Very crisp and perfectly seasoned.
The bread. The thin crisp crust pairs with the soft interior such that I think it would be quite delicious on its own. It has a nice chew and provides a great foundation for the sandwich.
Excellent meat-to-bread ratio, and the other ingredients enhance the beef, rather than competing with it. The addition of dots of blue cheese with the provolone bring an umami boost. The lightly caramelized onions are a sweet textural counterpart. The mayo includes a subtle bright bite of horseradish. Somewhere I am also picking up what I think is a lovely layer of rosemary—perhaps oil?

The Appetizer Sampler only came with one small container of ranch and no other sauce. They did not include either the Silverware or the extra IHOP Syrup that was requested."
