Which explains the room temperature fries, but not the skimpiest portion of them. The tenders were tender. So dried out, so tough (even the larger ones). Clearly under a heat lamp for an extended time. I ordered two sauces, my receipt shows I paid for two sauces, but I didn’t get any. This location is a terrible representation of KFC overall. "I branched out from my usual Indian dish and tried the Goat Kari Idly - Online dish. The goat mixture had tons of flavor and was so tender. It comes served on a bed of what I can describe as an unsweetened cake-like bread that soaks up the flavors juices. It was so good. I also ordered the Rasam Soup - Online, and it was so good. Okay, Krispy Krunchy Chicken, we got off to a rocky start—like, full-blown travesty status. I was almost ready to write y’all off forever. But today? You surprised me.
The food this time? Pleasantly pleasing. The chicken is flavorful and those pieces? Huge. Like, “feed-a-small-village” huge. Still, I could’ve gone for a couple more minutes in the fryer—same goes for the potato wedges. A little more crunch and a little more salt would’ve hit the mark.
But here’s the unsung hero of this meal: the packaging. One container. No fluff. No extra boxes. No unnecessary tree casualties. Just a big ol’ box of food—the way it should be. I respect that. Why give me five containers I’m just gonna throw away? This ain’t a Tupperware party.
All that said, I’m still a little standoffish from the trauma of round one, but credit where it’s due—y’all came back strong. If this keeps up, you might just win me over for good...
