The pasta used is cavatappi instead of elbow, which I loved. The food was fresh and the meat tender. Nothing tasted old. My only complaint: I prefer more seasoning/flavor. Single Barbacoa Taco meat was plentiful but you can a get pound of same meat from HEB, not good. The Classic beef tartare was a lot better than most restaurants! I dont know how they do it but I devoured it. Perhaps they dressed the raw beef with something,but they left a few dollops of at least 2 other (delicious) dressings to pair with the dish.
The Homemade seafood pasta had rough 7 mussels, 7-ish shrimp, and some bits of squid. All cooked WELL. It also comes with two thick cuts or toast (log shaped) that were well buttered then pan seared.
The Chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream is similar to a chocolate lava cake but soooo much better! Not too decadent.
Even the Mozzarella Sticks were amazing! The dip (which I was expecting to be marinara) was so good! Chunky sweet tomato dip. The only bad part of the entire meal was the fact that the dip was so thick/chunky that you actually cant dip the mozzarella sticks in. Regardless, I would order again. "

"The only reason I’m giving this a 10/10 and not 15/10 is because of the packaging! I loved that the butter wasn’t packaged on the side. That said, I don’t think Styrofoam is the best choice for steamed seafood.
Now for the food… WOW. The flavor, quality, and portion size were all absolutely there! Everything tasted amazing and honestly blew my mind. I ordered the second spice level, and it had the perfect kick—it was plenty spicy for me. I can’t even imagine how hot the higher spice levels are!
I got a little more than two clusters of crab legs, and I even think they threw in a couple of extra shrimp. I was able to eat until I was full and still have leftovers for later tonight. I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"I want to give this plac more stars, because the food did taste good, but...
The barbacoa was extra greasy. I know barbacoa is a greasy/fatty meat as it is, but my taco was sitting in a pool of grease, and my tortilla was start tobecom mushy and fall apart. Also, the salsa tasted good, but for some reason they were very runny/watery....but that's more of a preference kind of of thing.
The portion for an almost $6 taco was quite small. I asked for the extra portion, and it was basically a regular sized taco, leaning a bit on the smaller side.
The flan would have been good, but I didnt expect it to be flan on top of a chocolate pastry the likes of a muffin. It was moist, the texture was there, and the flan on top was nice and eggy---not too sweet (which I liked)--but if I am being honest it tasted like whatever else was in the fridge/cooler with it, more than any.
The horchata was decent; no complaints.
Like I said originally, the food tasted good, but there were things holding it back from truly shining, and things that could really turn first-time customers off. I mean this with all all the love and respect in the world, and I hope this helps."
