"South End Pita might literally be my favorite restaurant, including 'regular' sit-down restaurants. Take my review with a grain of salt, if you wish. I get it. Also, I don't review a lot of places. That said, I do do a LOT of takeout and am a Dashpass member for the value of it! I love this place, especially their plates. Don't be shy of the beef, the chicken (shawarma or kebab), or the lamb. "The Beef Kebab Rice Bowl has great flavor, but it's not really as pictured. The cabbage is not shredded, it's more like thick, raw squares (very hard to eat (had to throw a lot of it away). The tomato a cucumber were also roughly chopped. The cut up beef vs the whole beef on the stick I dont mind too much."

"The Chicken Shawarma Poutine was seriously delicious, whoever thought of combining shawarma and poutine was a genius. I ate about half of it hot, and the rest was still good when I ate the leftovers cold. The Falafel Salad and Lentil Soup were both good cold the next day too--the soup was nice and flavorful, and the lettuce in the salad was fresh and crisp. (In other words, this is apparently not one of those places that just throws salad on the menu as an afterthought.) I don't know how to describe the Sauteed Cabbage, but I liked it and I'll order it again; same with the tzatziki."
