"The combo tempura is definitely a PASS. It's pretty common to have at least two pieces of shrimp (the photo even shows two), but this came with one tiny, poorly fried shrimp. Even the veggies were scarce; seems like they went heavy on the fried onions to fill it out.
I ordered the two item bento (salmon teriyaki and california roll). The salmon was squishy and not cooked well all the way through. The sushi rice on the california roll was hard and bland, and the imitation crab seemed like it was also going bad. It had a grainy texture and a fishier taste than normal quality imitation crab from other restaurants. We had one bite and had to toss it. The bento was also missing miso soups for both orders.
I'd expect this from a fast take-out sushi joint, but for these prices, it's a hard "no" from me."

"Disappointing experience. The poke bowl was absolutely drenched in sauce. Whoever assembled it was extremely heavy handed with the sauce. The rice and everything else in the bowl was completely flooded.
I ordered a mix of shrimp and tuna, but the portion of seafood was surprisingly small. Everything was so covered in sauce that I could barely tell the difference between the tiny shrimp particles and tuna or taste the ingredients themselves.
Also, if you are ordering through DoorDash, be aware that the menu prices appear to be higher than when ordering delivery directly from the restaurant. I wish the pricing and additional charges were itemized and disclosed more clearly, especially for DashPass members.
Overall, less sauce, a more reasonable portion of protein, and better pricing transparency would make a big difference."

"I will love this food until I die. The quality of ingredients is fresh, the proportions are perfect so you can taste all the elements, and I have dreams about the perfection of the falafel. I've had it catered once at my own event and it was catered twice at other events after mine based off my suggestion, and literally everyone fell in love with it too. The chipotle toum side is one of my favorite things to dip the falafel by the piece in. I was sad to see that there were some big inconsistencies in the fullness of the toum sides I ordered, because their prices have gone up (still reasonable in range for the quality). I couldn't afford to commit to the 25 dollar jar, but some of the cups weren't even half full at $1.30. Even with this in mind, I'm still coming back and I'll continue to enjoy this food as long as I can still afford it. Oh, and DEFINITELY get the molasses on the lamb/beef wrap. On the plus side there was an above average amount of meat. I could taste the spices. The problem is that they didn't augment or enhance the flavor of the meat. Your experience may be different.
