"I had the vegetable pho and I had no idea what they meant when they were asking me what kind of noodles I wanted. I want pho noodles. Ya know the same noodles that have been in my pho for 20 years. I had 2 min left to order and there was no description.
Anyways, I ended up with some fat noodles, not the skinny rice noodles I wanted and the noodles being not pho noodles ruined the meal for me. It was also very small and it said a variety of vegetables but there were three huge broccolis pieces that should have been cut four more times and steamed longer because they were too crunchy to bite through and chew, and there were a coupe of carrots slices and cilantro was tossed in without mention because it doesn't have a distinct taste and everyone loves cilantro. Yeah right. It's the noodles hadn't already ruined my meal. This cilantro would've taken the lead. Only 2 crappy hoisin packs that I could barely get any sauce out of $36 it cost me for no meat and a crappy meal in every way"

"This has been our go-to Pho place for years. The taste is still good, but, the portions have shrunk noticeably and the prices have jumped up. The pho ribeye has maybe half the meat it used to. "There is absolutely no way this has the stars it has. We ordered 2x 3 item combo plates a side of fries and a shrimp boil plate special.
The good - the shrimp was well cooked, not mushy or tough. The house special sauce was good. Nothing special. It came with corn and rice. The rice was cooked well, not too sticky or mushy. Corn the same way. And that's where the good screeches to a halt!
The bad - 3 item plates, chicken tender katsu, bbq beef, fried shrimp, "spicy" beef kalbi, garlic chicken and loco moco. The "katsu" was soggy and the katsu sauce was terrible, sweet and thin. Fried shrimp was flavorless and the tartar sauce tasted like last weeks tartar sauce that's just been sitting. Bbq beef was slightly overcooked. The "spicy" kalbi was not spicy at all, slightly tough and lacked flavor. The garlic chicken was not garlic chicken. I recieved bbq chicken instead that again lacked flavor and extremely thin and dry. The "loco moco" was the absolute worst. It was literally a frozen hamburger patty with absolutely no seasoning and overcooked. The egg tasted like oil. And the gravy smelt off so I did not even try that. And the Mac salad was awful. Mushy noodles and absolutely no flavor. The take out boxes weren't great either. We recieved our food with the bag filled with what I'm assuming was the shrimp boil sauce.
At the end of the day this place has no business having "Hawaiian bbq" in its name. I wish we could get a refund but sadly we got the food so there's nothing to refund. Overall this was a 2/10 for the shrimp boil and rice being okay. Highly disappointed especially since this place was rated 4.5/5 at the time of ordering.
We do not recommend this place if Hawaiian bbq was the purpose."
