"Absolutely delicious! We like other Peter Chang-owned restaurants and this one is great, too! The Homestyle Stir-Fried Pork Belly was amazing - tender, beautifully spiced and a generous portion. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp were addictive - well seasoned (but not spicy at all) and cooked perfectly. They'd make a great appetizer shared among several people. They were so delicious that my 11 year old stole some even though she's usually quite picky. She also really enjoyed her Combo Lo Mein. The Sweet and Sour Chicken Slices were also great. Very flavorful with a perfect balance of sweetness. The Dry-Fried Eggplant was very tasty - crispy even though it had to travel here from the restaurant and well seasoned. The only slight let down was the golden mountain Golden Mountain Beef. We've had the Golden Mountain Chicken at other PC restaurants and it works better as chicken. The texture of some, but not all, of the pieces of the beef was stringy and a little dry. Over all it was a wonderful meal and we will order again!"

The shredded beef with peppers had far more peppers than beef, which threw off the balance of the dish. Overall, both dishes lacked flavor. I also found the portion sizes to be quite small compared to what I typically get at Chinese restaurants for a similar price."

"I LA LA LOVE this place. This is my first time trying it too. The Pan-Fried Yuanbao Dumplings 元宝锅贴(4) were incredible and you can tell they hand roll it. The dumpling sauce was also perfection! The Golden Mountain Beef金山牛 I didn't try it because I'm saving it for lunch. The Peking Duck Rolls 脆皮烤鴨卷(2) were great! But nothing to scream about. The BBQ Pork Pastry 叉烧酥(2), the pork was sooooo tender and very flavorful. Wish it wasn't in puff pastry. Rice Cakes with Brown Sugar 红糖糍粑(5) was DELICIOUS! "Umm umm good. This was my ce first time having Taiwan Rice Noodle and it was so delicious. Absolutely scrumptious. The spice level was perfect and evenly distributed throughout the entire dish. "Delightfully yummy. Both items I ordered Chicken Wonton Soup and Ma Po's Bean Curd were wholesome. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food. The Chicken Wonton Soup has four dumplings that are pretty large and a bunch of broth. I was a little sick so made me feel better. I didnt like the fritters that go with it though they were kinda stale but I also ordered pretty late. The Ma Po's Bean Curd was so good. I usually crave ma po tofu but wanted something less heavy and this was that it had so many veggies and the tofu was soft and the bean curd sauce was really nice actually spicy. Overall I was really happy with it. Will definitely get the tofu again. "

Sesame chicken is generally described as "bite-sized", but they make it 3-4x too big, meaning you have to fry it forever, which gives it a horrible, inconsistent chew. I tried to use a plastic knife, gave up, and managed with a steak knife.
Egg rolls tasted fine.
I put in a special request for half as much sauce. I got so much sauce that I had to open the package above my kitchen sink, let some sauce out, and only then could I open it normally. Gross. Who wants "crispy" (was... well 40% of the bite will be post-crispy and 60% will be tough) chicken swimming in sauce? You coat it. You don't drown it.
I'd say this is the worst fried rice I've ever eaten. The only flavor I can taste is stale peas. The color is a weird, inconsistent brown. My college cafeteria had better fried rice. Cheap, frozen, fried rice is better. The audacity to upcharge for it, too.
I've tried this place a handful of times over the years and it always manages to disappoint. It's never been this bad. I think it's my last chance."
