"First time ordering from Sweet green. I had the Miso Glazed Salmon. I got black beans and cilantro added. The food was flavorful and fresh. It came in a hexagonal paper bowl that I'm sure can be composted, or broken down by bacteria in a landfill.
About that bowl: it's not big, and it's not as big as it looks at first.
The interior dimensions at the top of the 6-sided bowl are roughly 8¼" from side to side, 9" from point to point, and about 1½" deep, with sides that quickly curve inward, so the diameter measurements at the bottom of the bowl are about 2" less than at the top. And then, in the center of the bowl bottom, there's a dome about 2½" - 3" across at the base, and almost ½" tall. And the plastic snap-on lid fits down into the bowl, further restricting the amount of food the bowl can hold. What I'm saying is that at first glance, the bowl LOOKS like it carries more in it than it actually does. First thing I noticed when I took the bowl of food out of the bag was how light it was.
The food itself cost about $17.70, as ordered. Add on the Service Fee, taxes, and a $5 driver tip, and this modest little bowl of food cost me 28 bucks and change.
Now, if you paid in excess of $500K for your house, and drive a Mercedes, $28 for what amounts to a modest salad with about 3 oz. of salmon may not bother you. And I really don't mind doing it ONCE, myself. But I won't be doing it again.
So 4 stars for the healthy and fresh, tasty food, none for the portion size, considering what it cost."

Other yummy menu items I’ve enjoyed include the Fish Taco, Harvest Bowl, Chicken Pesto Parm, Blackened chicken with crispy rice, sweet potatoes with hot honey mustard…and more! I highly recommend all these. I also love ordering the rosemary focaccia bread as a side, and they will include an adorable piece of bread inside the bowl too if you request it. I tried the crispy rice treat for dessert, which was beyond yummy and I devoured it. I found out it was created by a master pastry chef over the span of two years as he perfected the recipe and had his daughter taste test it. It was well worth all their efforts! Yum! It is no ordinary crispy treat, it is made with healthy ingredients and tastes extra indulgent.
